The Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc. (Clinic) is a private, not-for-profit legal services organization providing low cost legal services from its four offices to financially disadvantaged individuals in the Chicago area. Attorney’s fees are charged on a sliding scale based on household income.
Areas of law include: collection defense, debt counseling, environmental law, expungement of criminal records, family law (adoption, child support, divorce, paternity, visitation, and assistance to victims of domestic violence), guardianship of disabled adults, immigration, and social security disability claims.

Additionally, the Clinic operates the Domestic Violence Program, Environmental Law Program, Foreclosure Substantive Representation Program, Municipal Program and Pro Bono Program. Qualifying individuals receive free legal assistance from those programs.
