A Volunteer Law Student (1L, 2L, or 3L) is needed for the Chicago Legal Clinic's FSR Program (Foreclosure Substantive Representation Program) located at the Clinic's downtown office. The FSR Program represents clients in mortgage foreclosure defense cases and the law student works directly with a FSR Program attorney. The time commitment is 15-20 hours; days of the week are negotiable. The law student must have a laptop computer.
About the Organization
The Chicago Legal Clinic (CLC) provides low-cost and free legal assistance to disadvantaged individuals in the Chicago area. Legal services are provided at CLC's four offices located in the Austin, Downtown, Pilsen and South Chicago neighborhoods and at CLC's courthouse-based Advice Desks.
