Volunteer mediators who have participated in CCR's Mediation Mentorship Program provide free mediation services to people who could not otherwise afford them. Volunteers are required to mediate twice per month for a period of 18 months following the MMP. Volunteers are required to mediate once per month at one of CCR's priority program locations in Markham, Maywood, and Bridgeview.

About the Organization
The Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) provides pro bono mediation services. Cases may be self-referred by anyone who is involved in a dispute or by an attorney or judge by contacting the Center for Conflict Resolution.
We also offers pro bono mediation services through in-court programs in Cook County at the Daley Center, Maywood, Markham, Bridgeview, Skokie and Rolling Meadows courthouses, misdemeanor branch courts and Juvenile Court. Mediations may involve tenants and landlords, families, neighborhoods, juvenile offenders, guardianship, the workplace, corporate, employment, construction, real estate, environmental, health care, personal injury, intellectual property, church and community disputes. It is not necessary for cases to have legal issues and/or lawsuits pending.
