For your 2017 taxes, Illinois residents who claim the Federal EITC may also get a state EITC that is worth 14% of the Federal EITC. The Illinois EITC is claimed on the Illinois Income Tax Return. Illinois residents who claim the federal EITC may also get a State EITC which can be worth up to $885.
