Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation's Northern Regional Office has pro bono opportunities in all of its counties: Cass, Christian, Logan, Macon, Mason, Menard, Morgan, Sangamon, Scott, and Shelby.
Volunteers provide civil legal assistance to low-income persons and senior citizens facing issues regarding guardianship & estates; provide civil legal assistance to low-income persons and senior citizens facing issues regarding guardianship & estates, Medicaid, consumer law, family law, public benefits, and housing; provide callers with general information on how to use the legal system offer free legal advice and self-help materials and refer qualified low-income callers to Land of Lincoln regional offices for extended legal services.

About the organization
Organized in 1972, Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc. is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to pursue civil justice for low-income persons through representation and education.
LOLLAF provides free legal services to low-income persons in 65 counties in central and southern Illinois through five regional offices, three satellite offices, and a centralized telephone intake, advice and referral center.
Our goals are:
• to promote economic security, adequate shelter and health care;
• to alleviate domestic violence and improve family stability; and
• to advance the interests of vulnerable populations.
