All Kids Assist is a health insurance plan in Illinois that provides comprehensive coverage for children. The program covers regular checkups, shots, emergency care, and many other health care services. The program does not require co-pays or premiums. Coverage begins the month of your application. You can also request a three-month backdate for prior medical expenses.

To qualify for All Kids, children must be:

  • Under 19,
  • Live in Illinois, and
  • Have a family income at or below 318% of the federal poverty level.

Generally, children are eligible for benefits for 12 months. All Kids benefits must be renewed every year.
