CVLS Seminar: Overview of Supplemental Needs Planning

The presentation will focus on supplemental needs trust planning, including a basic overview of public benefits, eligibility for those benefits, and the creation of supplemental needs trusts and ABLE Accounts to facilitate benefits eligibility.  The goal is to help attendees understand the two different types of supplemental needs trusts and when they are appropriate to be used.  

The presentation will also address the role of supplemental needs trust in divorce and the role of the probate court in approving and/or overseeing supplemental needs trusts for individuals subject to a guardianship.

This seminar will be held remotely via Zoom, with CLE provided. Attendees will receive login instructions upon registration.
