Description

AI is opening new possibilities for how legal aid programs manage client intake, especially on high-volume phone hotlines. One promising application is the use of AI voice agents to help screen callers and ensure that only people who qualify for services are connected with staff. This technology can help reduce long wait times, cut down on duplicate and unnecessary intakes, and free up staff to provide direct services and help more people.
