Description
Topic: Legal Aid and Voter Engagement: What Nonprofits Can and Can’t Do
Legal aid and other nonprofits are trusted sources of nonpartisan resources and have an important role to play in promoting voting as a way to strengthen our communities. Join the Legal Aid Committee and the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights to talk about how legal aid organizations can integrate voter engagement into their work – and, just as importantly, how to remain nonpartisan and abide by 501(c)(3) requirements while doing so.
