Illinois Legal Aid Online's board of directors is a diverse group of leaders and innovators who are passionate about using technology to help resolve their legal problems.

Paul Seeman, Chairperson
UI Labs
Paul is the Chief Business Officer and Counsel for UI Labs, focusing on intellectual property, start-ups, commercialization and finding solutions to complex problems involving multi-party collaboration. Prior to joining UI Labs, Paul served as General Counsel for Rush Street Gaming, LLC and LAMB Partners. Paul holds degrees from the University Of Virginia School Of Law and Duke University.
Alison Larson, Vice Chairperson
Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP
Alison is the Strategic Pricing and Risk Manager at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, developing processes that streamline workflow, enhance communication, and improve service. Prior to joining the firm, Alison was the Executive Director of Schopf & Weiss LLP, and was responsible for promoting the firm's short term plans and long term goals. Alison holds a degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Sean Kruskol, Treasurer
Cornerstone Research
Sean is a Manager at Cornerstone Research. His work relates to accounting, valuation, causation, and economic damage issues in commercial disputes, including independent forensic accounting investigations for boards, special committees, and management. He has extensive experience with complex data manipulation and analysis. Sean is a CPA, CGMA, & CFE and holds a MAcc and BS from Miami University.
David Hambourger, Secretary
Chapman and Cutler LLP
Dave is Chapman and Cutler LLP’s Chief Information Officer. A law firm technology veteran, he has spent the last 17 years developing comprehensive and strategic technology initiatives at large law firms designed to increase productivity, collaboration, efficiency, and profitability. Dave holds degrees from Northwestern Uniersity, Loyola University College of Law, and University of Illinois.
Brian Abamont
State Farm Insurance Company
Brian is counsel for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company at its Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, IL. He counsels various areas of the enterprise on issues primarily related to technology, privacy and information security. Brian holds degrees from Vanderbilt University and St. Louis University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and Illinois (House Counsel).
John Bradway
Boston Consulting Group
John is Technical Product Development Lead at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he directs corporate software development, project management, systems management, desktop operations, and application engineering functions for BCG clients. A committed technologist, John has led IT operations and strategy in a number of organizations. He is a graduate of Millsaps College.

Pam is a Partner at Major, Lindsey & Africa, the leading global legal search firm with offices throughout the U.S., EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Pam represents law firm partners who are considering a change and helps them determine which firms provide the best platform and strategic fit. Pam holds degrees from the University of Illinois College of Law and the University of Maryland.
Dennis Garcia
Microsoft Corporation
Dennis is an Assistant General Counsel for Microsoft. Based in Chicago, he leads the legal support function to Microsoft’s U.S. Central Region Enterprise & Partner Group, a team of over 1,000 sales, services, and marketing professionals who are based in an 18-state region. Dennis holds degrees from Columbia Law School and Binghamton University.
Kristina Hendricks
Kirkland & Ellis LLP
Kristina is an intellectual property partner in Kirkland's Chicago office, with a primary focus on patent litigation. She has substantial experience litigating cases in a variety of technology areas, including both electronics hardware and software. Kristina has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Rich serves as General Counsel at Civis Analytics, a technology company with a wide range of corporate, non-profit, government, and political clients. Civis provides data science products and services that empower organizations to engage the right people with the right actions via the right channels. Prior to Civis, Rich was general counsel of a financial data analytics technology.
Gregory Leighton
Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP
Greg is a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions practice group at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP. Greg’s practice involves both patent prosecution, and the protection and enforcement of various forms of intellectual property. In 2015, he was named an Emerging Lawyer by Law Bulletin Publishing Company, a designation earned by fewer than 2 percent of all attorneys in Illinois.
Michael Lurie

Michael is the Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy at Constellation Brands, Inc. Michael’s team is responsible for providing oversight and management of trademark, licensing, innovation and brand equity building strategies, primarily for Constellation's premium beer brands. Michael is a graduate of Stanford University and University of San Diego School of Law.

Renee is Vice President in the Finance Practice at Charles River Associates, a leading global consulting firm that offers economic, financial, and business management expertise to major law firms, corporations, accounting firms, and governments around the world. Renee holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an MBA with honors from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Sandy Morris
Chico & Nunes, P.C.
Sandy is a litigation partner at Chico & Nunes, P.C. She represents corporations and individuals in a broad array of complex commercial and employment disputes in federal and state courts. Sandy is active in pro bono and legal aid organizations, having helped dozens of clients navigate the adoption process through her volunteer work with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
Robert Newman

Rob is a partner Loeb & Loeb LLP, where he concentrates his practice on counseling clients in intellectual property, marketing, e-commerce, and privacy matters. Rob is also an adjunct faculty member of The John Marshall Law School’s Center for Intellectual Property, Information & Privacy Law.
Starza Thompson
Starza is the co-founder of Pizzaphant, a marketing consulting firm that focuses on marketing strategy, digital marketing, and social media. Prior to starting her own company, she was the head of marketing at Mindsight, an IT consulting firm, where she was nationally recognized for her digital marketing strategy. Starza received her MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Stacey Tutt
University of Illinois College of Law Civil Litigation Clinic
Stacey is Clinical Professor and Director of the Community Preservation Clinic at University of Illinois' College of Law, her alma mater. She previously served as Managing Attorney for Prairie State Legal Services Inc.'s Bloomington office. Stacey has received both the Illinois Women's Bar Association Public Service Scholarship and the Rickert Award for Excellence in Public Service.
Jon Wasserman
Equity Group Investments
Jon is responsible for overseeing all of EGI's legal activities, and for working closely with the investment team and outside counsel on transactions. He also serves on the boards of directors for two EGI portfolio companies, East Mediterranean Gas, an Egyptian natural gas transmission company, and VIA Wines Group, a Chilean wine producer and marketer.
Matthew Wirig
Chapman and Cutler LLP
Matt is a partner at Chapman and Cutler LLP, where he represents clients in exchange-traded funds (ETFs), unit investment trusts, and hedge and traditional mutual funds. Additionally, Matt is an adjunct professor at Notre Dame Law School, and enthusiastic volunteer with ILAO's Free Legal Answers program. He holds degrees from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Notre Dame Law School.
