What are the laws, requirements, and best practices when implementing workplace accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)?
Learn how small and mid-sized arts organizations, which may not have an HR office, should provide ADA and workplace accommodations. Attorney Ashleigh Stochel from Norton Rose Fulbright will lead this educational webinar and answer questions from attendees. We’ll discuss accommodations for mental illness, invisible disabilities, pregnancy, along with other disabilities and medical conditions.
The session will approach the issue from both the employer and employee perspective, including what documents employees can expect to share, communication best practices, accommodations during the hiring process, and modifications to the job or working environment for employees.
