Description
A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is appointed by the court in adult guardianship cases in order to represent the best interests of the allegedly disabled adult. Join us April 28 as we cover the skills required to be a successful GAL for adult guardianship cases and the issues that may arise during those cases. This training is intended for attorneys who would like to volunteer in Chicago Volunteer Legal Services' Adult GAL program and take pro bono cases. No prior experience is necessary.
Participation via video is required for this interactive training.
