Description
Restorative Justice is an important tool in the justice system of the criminal courts but you may ask what is its purpose and how does it function in the circuit court. To help answer these questions and present an overview of the RJCC, a success with a recidivism rate of less than 13%, Margaret Kulujian and Mark Dobrzycki of the Avondale Restorative Justice Community Court will present a CLE to help you better understand the purpose and advantages of the RJCC process.
We will answer these questions and more……
- What is it?
- Who is eligible to participate?
- Who is involved in the community court?
- Where are the community courts located?
- How long does the process take?
- Can arrest and court records be expunged?
This seminar will be held remotely via Zoom. Attendees will receive login instructions upon registration.
