Description

Join us for this live training on representing the best interests of children as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in the Probate Division of Cook County. Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) GALs serve as child advocates in contested guardianship cases, ensuring the safety, welfare, and best interests of low-income, court-involved children. This training will cover the skills and tools necessary to effectively serve as a GAL in Cook County, and what to expect over the course of a case. No prior experience is necessary and all status
dates are held via Zoom.
