As an arts professional, you are likely operating a business whether you've registered a formal entity or not. Join us and corporate attorney Matt Klomparens from Perkins Coie LLP, at The Empty Bottle, to learn how to start your LLC in Illinois!

The LLC Start-up Workshop will make sure that you understand the legal landscape that governs small businesses. The workshop will introduce the key characteristics of the most common forms of for-profit businesses used by those in the arts, and teach prospective and current business owners how to organize a Limited Liability Company in Illinois.

The program begins runs 2-3:30pm with time for your questions. Come early and stay late to meet other arts workers! Alcohol will be available for purchase.
