The Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) will be hosting a CLE on discharge upgrades on Friday, May 8th, from 12–3 p.m. central.

This training will be led by Yelena Duterte, Director of the UIC Veterans Legal Clinic, along with staff attorney Maryam Abidi. It is designed for attorneys who are new to discharge upgrade work and will provide a comprehensive overview of the process, from client intake and record review to drafting persuasive submissions and navigating review boards. All advocates for veterans are welcome to attend, regardless of whether they are attorneys,.
