Blandinsville-Hire District Library
The McDonough County Legal Self-Help Center (LSHC) is a place where you can use a computer to find free legal information on IllinoisLegalAid.org, including the following:
- Court forms,
- Articles to help you understand your legal issue,
- Step-by-step instructions for filing cases and going to court, and
- Referrals to free and low-cost legal services.
The McDonough LSHC does NOT provide legal advice or help filling out court forms. See below for a list of what the center offers (for example, printers, scanners, staff to help you find information, etc.). You may also get started on your own by clicking the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the screen and typing your legal issue or question in the search box.
