Can I use this program?
To use this program:
- You must have juvenile arrest or court records in Illinois, and
- You must not be registered on the Juvenile Sex Offense Registry.
This program can create forms to expunge juvenile records from one county at a time. If you have records in more than one county, you can use the program again for each county.
What do I need first?
To complete this program, you will need copies of your juvenile records that include:
- The date of arrest,
- The arresting agency (police department),
- The case outcome you received,
- The court information if you saw a judge,
- The date the sentence was completed (if applicable), and
- The State's Attorney in the arresting county.
What documents will this create?
This program produces the following documents:
- Request to Expunge Juvenile Records
- Notice of Filing for Juvenile Expungement
- Additional Arresting Agencies (if needed)
- Additional Juvenile Records (if needed)
- Order to Expunge Juvenile Records
- Proof of Service
