Tell them you have an Order of Protection
When you call the police, inform them you have an Order of Protection and provide them with a copy. The police can then report any violation of the Order of Protection to the state's attorney's office, which may result in criminal charges.
Note: violating an Order of Protection is considered a crime only if the abuser has been served with the Order.
