A U visa is a type of immigration relief for survivors of domestic violence Harm by one household or family member against another household or family member. Harm may be an emotional, mental, or physical injury and other crimes. This visa encourages victims of certain crimes in the US to come forward. They can report crimes without fear of deportation. To qualify, the victim must work with law enforcement agencies.
