What you do in your day job?

I work at Charles River Associates in the Forensic Services practice. I assist clients in assessing cyber, litigation, and regulatory risks to their data.

What is your volunteer role with the Young Professionals Board?

Social Committee Co-chair, formerly Sponsorship Chair

Why did you become a YPB member?

I became involved with the YPB in 2024 as I was interested in getting involved with the Chicago legal community. ILAO spoke to me because of its online ease of access to disseminate legal information to underserved communities.

What is something that surprised you while serving on ILAO's YPB?

My first exposure to the YPB was the Beer and Cheese event in 2024 which enticed me to join. What surprised me the most was the fun I had connecting with other members at the event and the relationships we’ve built within the YPB. It’s a group of social, young legal professionals who know how to put the FUN in fundraiser!

Favorite technology at the moment?

My favorite tech of the moment is any smart home product. I love that I can adjust the mood and environment of my home with a few swipes of my iPhone. And it only took me a few dozen hours to set up my smart plugs! (insert crying emoji)

If you had an alternative career, what would it be?

I love my job and my colleagues, but I would love to own a deli and gourmet food shop. I am obsessed with anything served between two slices of bread and niche gourmet foods, so that would be a fun hobby to turn into a career.
