The Illinois Workplace Violence Protection Act gives employers the ability to help employees who are survivors of domestic violence and provide a safe working environment. The Act gives employers the right to ask for a Workplace Protection Restraining Order on behalf of their employees. This is a powerful tool that can be one of many ways employers can provide safe working environments for their employees, customers, and guests.
