Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is the government agency that makes immigration arrests, and puts non-citizens in detention. Learn more about ICE, what to expect if ICE is present in the community, and the rights all people have when dealing with ICE.
To report an ICE sighting or raid, call the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) Family Support hotline: (855) 435-7693.
WBEZ Chicago and the Chicago Sun-Times are also collecting photos of ICE in Chicago on their website. A person can upload a photo they've taken of ICE, reviewed by journalists, and placed on an interactive map. This map is coming soon.
